Questions
Which Sudoku book should I start with?
If you're new to Sudoku or coming back after a break, choose an Easy to Hard book: the puzzles start gently and build up, so your technique grows as you go. 2000 Sudoku Easy to Hard is a good first book. If you'd prefer bigger grids, start with 157 Large Print Sudoku Novice.
What do the difficulty levels mean?
Most books show their level in the title. A single level, such as Hard or Extreme, keeps every puzzle at that level. A range, such as Easy to Hard or Hard to Extreme, covers everything from the first level to the second. In our large print books, Novice runs from Easy to Hard, Adept from Medium to Very Hard, and Master from Hard to Extreme.
Are the solutions included?
Yes. The solutions are printed in the back of the books. The one exception is Hard Core Large Print Sudoku 250, whose solutions are free on our website.
Are the grids big enough to write in?
It depends on the book. To pack in as many puzzles as possible, 2000 Sudoku and 2000 Ultimate Extreme Sudoku print 12 compact grids on each page. If you like plenty of space for candidates, choose a large print book: 157 Large Print Sudoku has one big, clear puzzle on every page.
