1000 Jigsaw Sudoku

Jigsaw Sudoku swaps the familiar 3x3 boxes for irregular, jigsaw-shaped regions. Every row, column and region still holds the numbers 1 to 9, but because the regions twist and turn, your usual shortcuts stop working and you have to look at the grid afresh.

1000 Jigsaw Sudoku gives you 1,000 of these 9x9 puzzles per book, with solutions. There are three books: Easy to Hard, Medium to Very Hard, and Hard to Extreme, so you can start at a comfortable level and move up as the shapes become familiar.

Jigsaw puzzles reward a slightly different way of thinking. The regions reach into neighbouring rows and columns, which creates new ways to pin down a number, and the classic techniques still apply once you adapt them to the shapes. It's a great change of pace if classic Sudoku has started to feel routine.
