288 Hidoku Fun Shapes
Number-path puzzles in playful shapes.
288 Hidoku Fun Shapes puts a playful twist on the number path. Hidoku, also called Hidato or Number Snake, asks you to link every number in one continuous chain, and here the grids come in fun shapes instead of plain squares.
Some numbers are already in place. Fill in the rest so that each number touches the next, in any direction, including diagonally. The shapes add to the challenge: corners, narrow passages and open areas all change how the path can move, so each puzzle feels different from the last.
There are three books with 288 puzzles each: Easy to Hard, Medium to Very Hard, and Hard to Extreme. Start with Easy to Hard if Hidoku is new to you, and move up as you get used to planning the route.
There's no arithmetic, only logic and a good eye for the path, so these books suit solvers of any age and make an appealing gift. If you'd prefer big, clear square grids, see 180 Large Print Hidoku, and for longer paths without diagonal moves, try 270 BIG Numbrix.
