180 Large Print Hidoku
Follow the number trail on big, clear grids.
180 Large Print Hidoku prints one large puzzle on every page, so you can see the whole number path at once. Hidoku, also called Hidato, asks you to link every number in one continuous chain, moving in any direction, including diagonally.
Some numbers are given. Fill in the rest so that each number touches the one before and the one after it. The diagonal moves give the path more freedom than in Numbrix, which makes the route harder to pin down: you'll count the steps between given numbers and narrow down the squares the chain can use.
There are three books with 180 puzzles each. Novice is a relaxed place to start. Adept is for solvers who already enjoy number paths. Master is for experienced solvers who want large print without giving up a challenge.
Large print suits anyone who prefers bigger numbers and more space, for comfort, for eyesight or simply for a calmer solve. There's no arithmetic, only logic. If you'd like grids in playful shapes, see 288 Hidoku Fun Shapes, and for extra-large paths that move without diagonals, try 270 BIG Numbrix.
