Hashi asks you to connect the islands with bridges so that each island has as many bridges as its number. Bridges run straight across or down, two islands can share one bridge or two, bridges never cross, and every island must end up connected. It's pure logic, with no maths needed.

There are three books. Novice starts on 9x12 grids and is the ideal introduction. Adept steps up the challenge for solvers who know the basics. Master reaches grids of 21x28 for experienced solvers.
